Iranian organization SAMT bestows books to Bamiyan University

At a ceremony, the advisor to public relations department of Iranian Organization of Research and Composing Text books on Humanities (SAMT), bestowed 140 book titles printed by SAMT to Bamiyan University in Afghanistan.According to the correspondent, quoting from the Public relations office of SAMT, the ceremony was attended by the advisor to public relations department of this organization Rasoul Mousavi (Ph.D.) and the head of Bamiyan University Ma’soumeh Khavari who discussed on the collaboration between the two entities.
Several university instructors were also present in this event. Established approximately in 1994 or 1997 the University is located in Bamiyan Province, central Afghanistan, and part of the Hazara-populated region known as the Hazarajat. After the fall of Taliban and Under the American and New Zealand Provincial Reconstruction Teams, the university was refurbished and reopened in 2004. With more than 8000 students, Bamiyan University with seven faculties including education, humanities, agriculture, geology, religious jurisprudence, economy and natural sciences offers 36 scientific courses.
