Int’l Pineapple Award Granted To Iranian Illustrator

On the sidelines of Beijing International Book Fair 2018, the third prize of Pineapple International Illustration Award 2018 was given to Iranian illustrator Hamideh Khosravian According to correspondent, quoting from the public relations office of Iran’s Cultural Fairs Institute, Khosravian received the trophy along with two other illustrators from Ukraine and Italy. The first prize called Pineapple Circle went to a Chinese illustrator and the second prize was given to the illustrators from Lithuania China and Russia. The 25th Beijing International Book Fair was held on August 22 to 26 in China International Exhibition Center (New Venue).
This year, over 250 Iranian books were displayed in our country’s stand with a variety of subjects such as Iranian studies, arts, children and young adults, religion and the sacred defense (the 8-year war Iraq imposed on Iran).
