Illustrations By Czech Artists On Show In Tehran

The Iranian Artists Forum in Tehran is playing host to an exhibition of illustrations from Czech artists The exhibition entitled “From the Heart of Europe” has been organized in collaboration with the Biennale of Illustrations Bratislava (BIB) and the International Board on Books for Young People, the organizer of the Hans Christian Andersen Award, the most prestigious honor that is given biennially to an author and an illustrator in the field of children’s literature.
The exhibition displays a collection of the winners of the Hans Christian Andersen Award and the Biennale of Illustrations Bratislava, the forum announced in a press release on Tuesday. The poster of the exhibit has been designed by Iranian artist Golriz Gorgani inspired by an artwork created by the Czech illustrator Jindra Capek.
