In this event, Amouzgar said: “The 67th Frankfurt International Book Fair will be held this year from October 14 to 18, 2015. As in previous years, especially the last two years, Iran will have a complex stand there. The Union of Tehran Publishers and booksellers will also atend this stand.” Referring to the differences of Iran’s participation in this edition of Frankfurt Book Fair compared with last year, he said: “In making use of the stand space, we have drawn on the experiences of the countries with similar publishing situations such as Turkey, Malaysia and Indonesia.” He further added: “Being Present in global markets is generally carried out by participating in International Book Fairs through a cultural institution of the country which in our case is the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance which leases the stands and puts it at the disposal of publishing organizations. We suggested puƫng this issue into practice this year, and fortunately it was approved by the Cultural Department of the Ministry.
