A Persian book for children ‘The Little Key’ by Ebrahim Ghadrdan has been translated into English and published by Iran’s Center for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults According to IBNA correspondent, the book is from the series of The Little Bird addressing children through play and amusement. The series is also published by Iran’s Center for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults in English. The book was translated by Siamak Mazloumi and illustrated by Ali Khodaei. It’s one of those fantasy books which attract the attention of children to its world by activating their imagination. The Persian edition was first released in 2013. Part of the story reads: “The Little Key was always idle and was daydreaming most of the time. He saw himself a beautiful butterfly flying over a plane covered with flowers. Sitting beside a fountain, he made friends with many insects.”
