Book Week in Kermanshah Launched with the Unveiling of ‘Hamsafar’, a Book Praised by the Leader

Kermanshah, Khabaronline News Agency: The opening ceremony of the Book and Reading Week in Kermanshah province was held today at the Imam Khomeini (RA) Public Library, with the presence of cultural officials, writers, and cultural figures. During this ceremony, the book “Hamsafar”, which has been praised by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, was unveiled.

The Director-General of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Kermanshah Province stated at the ceremony: “Book Week is an opportunity to promote the culture of reading and to familiarize people more with the values of books.” He added that the book “Hamsafar,” which narrates the lives and revolutionary struggles of martyrs, is an outstanding example of resistance literature.

Additionally, on the sidelines of this ceremony, an exhibition of the latest works by Kermanshahi writers and local publishers was set up. Diverse programs, including book review sessions, meetings with authors, and book donations to schools and cultural centers across the province, are planned to be held throughout Book Week.
