Specialized Children’s and Young Adult Library Opens in Tehran’s District 14

A specialized library for children and young adults has been opened in District 14 of Tehran. This library has been established to promote a culture of reading and easier access to educational resources for this age group.

The head of Tehran’s Public Libraries Department stated at the opening ceremony that this library is equipped to attract more children and young adults to cultural and study spaces. He added: “The specialized children’s and young adult library has been created in cooperation with Tehran’s District 14 Municipality and the Public Libraries Institution of the country and includes various sections such as a reading hall, lending section, and diverse educational workshops.”

This initiative is part of the comprehensive cultural development programs of the region, which pays attention to the important role of books in nurturing the future generation.
