The achievements of promoting the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom will be visible in the long term
The second meeting of the Council for the Promotion and Development of the Culture of Sacrifice and Martyrdom was held, with a report presented by the council’s secretariat on the implemented resolutions of the first meeting.
According to a reporter from IRNA’s culture desk, the meeting was held on Wednesday, November 13, at the assembly hall of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
In this session, Seyyed Majid Emami, Secretary of the Public Culture Council, stated, “The achievements of promoting and developing the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom will become apparent in the long term, and we must be patient for this. The entire country must strive for this work.”
He continued: “Organizing cultural, artistic, and sports festivals, producing and publishing 221 book titles, supporting 108 theses, producing 76 short films, 5 feature films, 6 documentaries, 11 series, 35 television films, and 6 animations are among the programs produced and released with the support of this council.”
Other programs of the secretariat include awarding medals for sacrifice and martyrdom, forming think tanks, holding forums, producing radio and television programs, creating music videos, posters, and podcasts, naming places after martyrs, honoring the families of martyrs and veterans, and holding memorials.
