Call for Iran Public Library Emblem Extended

The deadline for submitting works to the “Iran Public Library Emblem” cultural event has been extended until the end of Tir (July 21).

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of the Public Libraries Institution of Iran, Seyyed Baqer Mirabdollahi, the secretary of the Iran Public Library Emblem event, announced the extension of the deadline for submissions. He stated: “The ‘Iran Public Library Emblem’ is a cultural event organized by the Public Libraries Institution to identify, introduce, and honor the creators of the best cultural and artistic works with the central theme of ‘public library’.”

He added: “This event aims to highlight the status of public libraries in the country’s cultural ecosystem, strengthen the cultural and social role of libraries, support and encourage artists to create content with a library focus, and identify creative ideas to enhance the cultural and artistic appeal of libraries.”

The secretary of the event detailed the competition categories: “This event will be held in four categories: illustration, poster, infographic, and motion graphics. Those interested can submit their works through the website iranpl.ir. It is worth noting that participants can submit works in all four sections of the event.”
