Book Exhibition Held in Malayer
A major book exhibition has opened its doors in Malayer, offering a diverse collection of titles from various publishers to residents and visitors. The event, which began on Monday, aims to promote reading culture and provide easy access to a wide array of literary and scientific works.
According to the head of the Malayer Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance, more than 50,000 titles from over 100 publishers are on display. Discounts are being offered on all books, encouraging greater public participation and purchase.
The exhibition features sections dedicated to children’s literature, academic texts, religious books, and contemporary Persian fiction. Cultural programs, including storytelling sessions for children and book reading events, are also scheduled throughout the week-long exhibition.
Officials hope that such initiatives will contribute to increasing the per capita reading rate in the city and foster a more knowledgeable and engaged community. The exhibition will run until the end of the week at the city’s central cultural complex.
