A Lesson Akhund Khorasani Taught an Anti-Constitutionalist Seminarian
According to Mobalegh’s thought and culture website, Seyyed Mousa Shubiri Zanjani, one of the prominent sources of emulation and teachers of jurisprudence and principles in Qom, is a figure whose narratives are generally accompanied by documentary meticulousness, avoidance of exaggeration, and attention to the moral layer of jurists’ behavior. He, who himself does not believe in the reliability of a single report, relies on multiple and trusted reports when recounting memories. The following anecdote is recounted exactly with this consideration: by mentioning the documents, narrators, and names of Akhund Khorasani’s close students.
The Story of Akhund and the Anti-Constitutionalist Seminarian
In a book written about the late Akhund, it is narrated with a very reliable chain of transmission from Mr. Seyyed Mahmoud Shahroudi, from Mr. Naeini, and also from Seyyed Abdullah Shirazi, reporting from Mr. Zia, and also from Sheikh Mohammad Rashti, from his father Sheikh Abdolhossein. Three companions of the late Akhund, Mr. Naeini, Mr. Aqaa Zia, and Mr. Sheikh Abdolhossein Rashti, are the narrators of the story.
