Jaleh Amouzgar speaks about ancient Iranian literature
According to Iran’s Book News Agency (IBNA), the meeting “Ancient Iranian Literature” will be held both in-person and offline as part of the literary series of the Iranian World Institute.
In this meeting, which will be held on Sunday, Azar 23, 1404 at 13:00, Jaleh Amouzgar, a specialist in ancient culture and languages, will give a speech.
Jaleh Amouzgar was born in Khoy in 1318 [1939-1940 AD]. From 1347 to 1349 [1968-1970 AD], she worked as a researcher at the Iranian Culture Foundation. From 1349 [1970 AD], she started teaching as an assistant professor in the Department of Ancient Culture and Languages at Tehran University, and from 1362 [1983 AD] as an associate professor, and from 1373 [1994 AD] until now, she has been teaching and researching as a professor at the Faculty of Literature and Humanities at Tehran University. Amouzgar is a member of the Supreme Scientific Council of the Center for the Great Islamic Encyclopedia, a member of the advisory board of the French Institute of Iranian Studies in Iran, and a member of the book selection group, among her many achievements. This hardworking lady in the field of ancient culture and languages retired from the Faculty of Literature and Humanities at Tehran University in 1385 [2006-2007 AD] with the highest rank of professorship.
This meeting will be held at Tehran University, Faculty of Literature and Humanities, second floor, Master Abbas Iqbal Ashtiani Hall.
