Morteza Momayez has played a determining role in the evolution of graphic design in Iran by creating an extensive collection of logos, illustrations, and lasting posters. His works, which have emerged in extension of the aesthetic traditions of Iranian art and in line with the international language of imagery, are considered among the most important turning points in contemporary graphic history.
The donation of the electronic version of Momayez’s works to the National Archives and Library Organization of Iran is considered more than a symbolic act and provides a basis for the long-term protection of Iran’s graphic heritage. This collection will be registered in the National Library’s digital repository as a valid document of contemporary art history and will provide access for researchers and future generations.
