“A Dead Child on the Sidewalk” on Radio Display

According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), the play’s story takes place on a sunny late autumn day. Two elderly and distinguished ladies come to the park for fresh air and sit on a bench to set up their coffee and pastry. Their daily and cheerful conversation suddenly changes color with the discovery of a child’s body next to the sidewalk near their bench. A black comedy begins, and as events unfold one after another, the play turns into a social and critical reflection.

This radio play was produced by Farshad Azarnia, edited by Amin Rahbar, sound engineered by Reza Taheri, and with sound effects by Narges Mousapour and Mohammadreza Ghobadifar.

This play will be broadcast on Friday at 8:30 AM, 4:00 PM, and 11:00 PM.
