Book Friday Market in Kashmar
The third week of the “Book Friday Market” was held on Friday in Koodak Park on Imam Khomeini Street in Kashmar with the goal of expanding reading culture, providing easy access to written resources, and strengthening social vitality. This event aims to promote reading culture, facilitate access to books, and create a cultural space.
Zohouri Torshizi Literary Circle
Also, the Imam Khomeini Public Library in Kashmar hosted the weekly meeting of the Zohouri Torshizi Literary Circle this week, attended by a group of poets, researchers, and literature enthusiasts.
Book Reading Competition at Shahrabad Public Library in Mahvelat
To commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatimah Zahra (peace be upon her), a book reading competition was held this week in Mahvelat city with the participation of the municipality, the local mosque, and the Shahrabad Public Library. The selected book for this competition was “Fatemi Call in Alavi Oppression; Sermon of Lady Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her)”, which explores various dimensions of Lady Fatimah Zahra’s personality and her historical sermon.
“Khatam Plan” in Khaf
The “Khatam Plan” was held with the aim of promoting self-care, awareness, and enhancing social resilience, organized by the Khatam al-Anbiya Public Library in Khaf and in cooperation with the city’s Welfare Department. This educational program focuses on raising awareness among women and girls and emphasizing self-care, as a purposeful activity that strives to enhance knowledge, awareness, self-esteem, and self-understanding for women and girls between the ages of 13 and 45, while respecting human dignity.
Programs of the Mobin Quranic Circle at Haj Abdollahi Noughab Public Library
This week in Noughab, various cultural programs were held to promote Quranic and religious concepts and culture, organized by the Mobin Quranic Circle at Haj Abdollahi Noughab Public Library in Gonabad. These programs included an insight session focusing on contemplation of the concepts of Surah Yasin with the attendance of women, and an introduction and storytelling session from the book “Stories of the Quran” by Mehdi Azar Yazdi for children and teenagers, facilitated by Emmat Lotfi Moghadam.

This week, the Mobile Library Peak of Wisdom 10 in Quchan implemented a series of cultural and educational programs in target villages of Abkouh district, aiming to promote reading culture and expand public library services. These programs included setting up a service desk at Quchan Friday Prayer, a school reading session, a reading bell, introducing books from the Aftab Mehrabani plan (My Hero book series from Ketabak publications), a puzzle and intelligence question competition, a painting station, and a Book Week celebration in target villages.
Cultural Programs at Ahmad Aram Public Library in Bardaskan
In line with promoting reading culture and enriching leisure time, various cultural programs were held for different age groups at the استاد Ahmad Aram Public Library in Bardaskan. The “Ins wa Adab” Literary Circle, which hosts children and teenagers every week, provided an opportunity this week to nurture the literary taste of the future generation with a special program including reading and teaching the proper recitation of Hafiz’s valuable sonnets. Also, the weekly meeting of the “Book-reading Lady Association”, which takes place every Monday with the attendance of a group of ladies, was dedicated this week to discussing the impact of poetry reading on inner peace, with active participation from members.

In order to promote the culture of books and reading, a special program entitled book introduction and reading was held by Shahid Hashemi Nejad Public Library in Bidokht, Gonabad, in cooperation with Fatima Saadat School in Bidokht. This program, aimed at familiarizing students with valuable works of children’s and young adult literature and promoting the reading habit among the young generation, received widespread welcome.
