50 Libraries and Cultural Centers to be Established by the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults in Hormozgan

According to the reporter of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Bandar Abbas, Hamed Alamati said: For Hormozgan province, with its vastness and student population, 25 centers of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (Kanoon) are not enough.

The CEO of Kanoon added: We hope that with the cooperation and effort of officials, the competence we see in the Director General of Kanoon in Hormozgan province, and the expertise and capacity of the provincial Kanoon instructors, this number will increase to 72 centers, so that Kanoon’s umbrella of support covers all children and adolescents of this province and we witness educational justice throughout Hormozgan province.

He stated that having skills and knowledge alone is not effective for educating the future generation, and said: Kanoon instructors must, in addition to benefiting from knowledge, skills, and coaching techniques, be adorned with Islamic ethics, behavior, and lifestyle so that they can design hidden and overt activities in the field of action.

Alamaty emphasized that work must be done on the innate nature of children and added: We must return the child to their true nature, because education means bringing the child back to their pure nature.

In another part of his speech, the CEO of Kanoon emphasized the presence of capable forces in Kanoon and stated: The main element of Kanoon is human resources. The beating heart of Kanoon and the main pillar of developing the taste and intellect of children and adolescents are the instructors, and instructors in the current situation, where we are facing a civilizational confrontation, must be mindful that their type of interaction and lifestyle are more important than knowledge.

Alamaty clarified that having skills and knowledge is necessary for an instructor but not sufficient, and added: A child or adolescent who enters Kanoon sees all staff as role models, and their behavior remains in their mind, so everyone at Kanoon must have the perspective and mindset of an instructor.

Hamed Alamati further stated that the people of Hormozgan province are noble and warm-hearted people, and said: Today I am very pleased to be among instructors who are very polite, modest, and self-respecting in their words, behavior, and speech.

He referred to Parvin Poshtkohi, Director General of Kanoon Hormozgan, as a worthy and top-tier manager, and said: You instructors and mothers have a role model named Hazrat “Umm al-Banin,” whose behavioral indicators are civilization-building.

Hamed Alamati then referred to some moral and behavioral virtues of Hazrat “Umm al-Banin” and said: Emotional support and showering love on children, foresight and raising children as models of manners and courage, strengthening the spirit of dignity, courage, and sacrifice, and preparing children to play a role in the future to aid their Imam, etc., are among the most important of these moral virtues.

According to IBNA, in this meeting, the Director General, deputies, experts, officials, and instructors of Kanoon Hormozgan expressed their viewpoints and concerns, after which the deputies and CEO of Kanoon answered questions in various sections.
