Ibna Reporter Shines at the Second Baharestan Media Festival

According to a reporter from the Iran Book News Agency (Ibna), the closing ceremony of the second “Baharestan” Media Festival was held on Tuesday (November 2nd) at the House of Nation with the presence of Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly.

At this event, Nafiseh Khalili, a reporter for the Iran Book News Agency, ranked third in the reporting section.

Ibna’s winning report at this event, titled “Challenges of Managing a 118-Year-Old Library / What are the Issues of the Parliament Library?”, was published in 1403 (Persian calendar year, corresponding to 2024-2025) on the occasion of the appointment of the new head of the Parliament Library.

According to Ibna, Nafiseh Khalili, a reporter for Ibna’s Culture and Publishing Service, is one of the agency’s veteran and active members in the field of libraries.

The judging panel of the second Baharestan Media Festival included renowned media professors and figures such as Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Forghani, Fereydoun Sedighi, Dr. Ali Asghar Mohakki, Dr. Saeedeh Rezvani, Seyed Mahmoud Razavi, Dr. Shahab Esfandiari, Mahmoud Abdolhosseini, and Morteza Derakhshan.

In this edition of the festival, 599 works from 263 participants were received in various sections, and after initial evaluation, the top works were selected by the judging panel in the final stage.
