Head of the Book Fair Appointed

According to Khabaronline News Agency, quoting the Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the text of the decree by Seyyed Abbas Salehi addressed to Mohsen Javadi states:

Given the importance and pivotal role of the Tehran International Book Fair in the country’s cultural ecosystem, strengthening the publishing economy, expanding reading culture, promoting cultural justice, and enhancing domestic and international cultural interactions, and considering your valuable knowledge and experience, you are appointed as the ‘President of the 37th Tehran International Book Fair.’

It is hoped that by making good use of the capacities of scholars in the field of publishing and literati of the country, and by optimally utilizing the capabilities of the Cultural Affairs Deputy and the House of Book and Literature of Iran, you will be successful and supported in achieving the goals of this great cultural event and its proper execution.
