Latest status of Reza Amirkhani after the fall accident

According to Khabar Online news agency, quoting ISNA, for years he has entrusted himself to the sky and shares images of his paragliding flights on his Instagram page. His friends sometimes jokingly say, “If you can’t find Reza on the ground, you’ll definitely find him in the sky.” For one of his flights, he wrote, “When you want to land, and the earth and time don’t want you to.” Now, in his latest flight, the earth has embraced him firmly.

The accident for Reza Amirkhani occurred on Sunday afternoon, November 30th (9th Azar), in the Imamzadeh Hashem heights. He was initially transferred to Gilavand Hospital. Later, at the family’s request, he was moved to Kasra Hospital in Tehran, where he is currently hospitalized in the intensive care unit.

Some literary figures, including Ahmad Dehghan, Behrouz Jalali, Ebrahim Zahedi Motlagh, Mohammad Reza Bayrami, Mehdi Ghazali, and Hamed Askari, along with Niknam Hosseinipour (Director-General of Public Relations of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance), Shahab Darabian (Public Relations Manager of the Cultural Deputy of the Ministry of Guidance), and a number of media professionals, are anxiously waiting for good news in front of the hospital. Some of his friends are also praying for him, reciting Hamd-e Shafa, and asking everyone to pray for him. In Telegram groups, some are praying for his recovery by reading parts of the Quran and holding Quranic Khatms, hoping that no serious danger threatens Reza Amirkhani.

There is much conflicting news about the health status and injuries sustained by this writer; from low levels of consciousness to lowering the level of consciousness to prepare for surgery, and so on.

However, a text published on Reza Amirkhani’s website states: Reza Amirkhani, our country’s author, who was injured in an accident on Sunday afternoon, November 30th (9th Azar), has been hospitalized in one of Tehran’s hospitals and is under full care of a skilled medical team.

According to his family, based on doctors’ diagnosis, Reza Amirkhani has sustained fractures and injuries in several areas and is under observation and treatment in the intensive care unit.

One of Amirkhani’s treating physicians said that given his high physical fitness, there is hope that his condition will stabilize and improve in the coming days, several hours after the accident.

The family of this dear author of our country, while thanking the expressions of kindness and prayers of compatriots, announced that they will release further updates on his health.
