Hamedan National Ayat Poetry Festival for Children and Adolescents Kicks Off

According to the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Hamedan, the National Ayat Poetry Festival for Children and Adolescents has started its work with the publication of a call for entries.

This festival is organized by the Quran and Etrat Unit of the General Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the province and the Montazeran Mahdi (AJ) Quranic Institute.

Participants in this festival, who will compose poetry in two sections – for children and adolescents aged 8 to 18, and a special section centered on Nahj al-Balagha – can take part.

Those interested can submit up to five works in each section by the end of Azar (November/December) on topics such as divine knowledge and poetic descriptions of wise themes and teachings of the Quran and Etrat, steadfastness, resilience, endurance, prayer, hijab and chastity, enjoining good and forbidding evil, social harms, youth population, and family.

The closing ceremony of this festival will be held in the second half of Bahman 1404 (January/February 2026).
