Resistance of Turkmens against Reza Shah / ‘Sahra Mard’ enters Mehr Theater Hall
According to Khabaronline News Agency, quoting the public relations of the work, the play ‘Sahra Mard’, co-written by Shahrooz Iri and Asghar Garousi, directed by Shahrooz Iri, and in cooperation with the Art Bureau of Golestan Province and Sureh Theater Club, adapted from the novel ‘Matikhan’ by Abdolrahman Onagh, will be staged in Tehran from the second half of Azar.
This work narrates the resistance and courage of Turkmens against the oppression and despotism of Reza Shah’s government and depicts the culture of Turkmens on stage.
Mohammad Reza Moloudi, Ruhollah Mojallali, Asal Latif, Mehdi Eftekhari Far, Mehrshad Mehrpouyan, Matin Khoozini, Gunesh Khojeh, Elnaz Nafaspour, Ruhollah (Rahi) Saeiri, Baran Salehi, Maral Kord, Abolfazl Paknia, and Hadieh Chaparli are the main actors of this play, and Somayeh Azari, Fatima Jahantigh, Shadi Shahriari, Sarina Aminiamjad, and Mobina Pourghaz form the ‘Sahra Mard’ physical theater group.
