Over 29,000 people visited Kish Book Fair / 31,000 books sold

Davood Radmand, in an interview with the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Bandar Abbas, praised the residents of Kish for their reception of the Kish Book Fair and said: One day before the end of this major cultural event, over 29,000 people visited the Kish Book Fair, and more than 31,000 books were sold.

The executive secretary of the Kish Book Fair, emphasizing that the exhibition will not be extended, added: The closing ceremony will be held at 7 PM on Azar 9th in the Kish Book Fair’s convention hall, with the presence of officials, Kish residents, and the book-reading community.

Radmand stated: In addition to the winners of the Shahnameh reading competition and the best participants in the English speaking event, outstanding schools in cultural and artistic activities will also be honored with plaques of appreciation and cash prizes.

The sixth Kish Book Fair began on Azar 1st and will conclude today, Azar 9th, 1404.
