Night of Iranian Prosody at the Artists’ House

According to Khabaronline News Agency, quoting Bukhara Public Relations, this session will be held on Sunday, December 1st, 2025, with speeches by Ali Ashraf Sadeghi, Omid Tabibzadeh, Aliasghar Ghahremani Mogbel, Aria Tabibzadeh, and Ali Dehbashi at the Iranian Artists’ House, Master Jalil Shahnaz Hall.

The book ‘Arabic Prosody and Rhyme’ written by Aliasghar Ghahremani Mogbel, is the most complete book written in Persian on Arabic prosody and rhyme since the establishment of prosody by Khalil ibn Ahmad. This book is, in fact, a much more detailed version of another book that Ghahremani Mogbel had previously written, which was the only existing reference on Arabic prosody and rhyme in Persian. In this book, the author has not only fully described the rules of Khalil’s prosody, introduced Khalil’s prosody with a new and scientific expression, and in addition to all the details of Khalil’s prosody, has also spoken about some traditions, forms, and features outside Khalil’s prosody in Arabic poetry, as well as the meter of contemporary Arabic poetry. The comprehensiveness and scientific method of the book have made it not only an outstanding work in Persian but also a work with the merits of the present book cannot be shown even in Arabic.
