According to Iran Book News Agency (IBNA); the fourth edition of the book ‘Song of Life Story’, in 424 pages, quarto size and hardcover, was released in Azar 1404 (concurrent with Fahimeh Akbar’s birthday).

Fahimeh Akbar (Yamin Esfandiari) lived for 91 years. An artist and singer who sang enduring songs for the people and against the occupiers during the Russian invasion of Gilan in World War II. After that, for many years, she strove for culture, art, ethnography, and Iranology; she composed music, sang, wrote books, and organized national exhibitions. She established homes and clinics for cultural figures and those in need. For art education and reading, she went to women’s prisons. She donated her house in Rasht to the Cultural Heritage Department to become an ‘Ethnography Museum’…

The book ‘Song of Life Story’ is an untold narrative of 91 years of the life and works of Lady Fahimeh Akbar.
