So far, 9,000 students have visited the Kish Book Exhibition.

Davood Radmand, in an interview with an IRNA reporter in Bandar Abbas, announced the effective presence of Kish students in scientific camps at the sixth book exhibition of this island, held with the slogan ‘Book, a Window to Life’ in the exhibition hall of Kish Free Zone, and said: Over 5 days, 9,000 students have visited the Kish Book Exhibition.

The executive secretary of the Kish Book Exhibition, expressing satisfaction with the active participation of students, stated: Out of the 45,000 residents of Kish Island, 11,000 are students, and considering that students will also visit the exhibition next Saturday and Sunday, it is predicted that over 95% of Kish-resident students will attend the book exhibition.

Radmand, while thanking the cooperation of the Ministry of Education in recording these statistics, added: One of our goals is to ensure that the latest and best works reach children and teenagers, and from this perspective, a significant number of student attendances were recorded at last year’s book exhibition, which shows the remarkable attention of the Ministry of Education to the issue of students’ individual and social development.

He also said: Free public transportation for Kish residents to visit the book exhibition is provided from four points – Sadaf, Safin, Bonyad, and Nobonyad – departing at 18:00 and 19:00 and returning at 21:00 and 22:00.

Davood Radmand clarified: Shahnameh reading competition, English language narration, book unveiling, and introduction of new works written by Kish students are among the side programs of the exhibition.
