Call for the Eleventh National Poetry Congress ‘Iranmehr’ Published

According to the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Karaj, the secretariat of this congress has announced that works will be accepted in traditional, free verse (Sepid), and Nimaic poetry formats, as well as songs and anthems. The main theme for this round is ‘Iran,’ with a focus on its history, civilization, culture, art, literature, and national and religious heritage.

The special theme is dedicated to the ‘Imposed War by America and Israel against Iran,’ which can be addressed from perspectives such as resistance, national unity, martyrs of authority, and the deterrent role of Islamic Iran. Additionally, ‘Hazrat Umm al-Banin (SA)’ has been introduced as a collateral theme and a role model for mothers and wives of martyrs.

Prizes for this round include 80 million Rials and the congress trophy for the first-place winner, 60 million Rials and a letter of appreciation for the second-place winner, 40 million Rials and a letter of appreciation for the third-place winner, and 30 million Rials for commended individuals. Submitted works must not have been previously published in a book or periodical, and each poet can send a maximum of five works to the secretariat.

The deadline for submission of works has been announced as December 6, 2025. Interested individuals can send their poems to the congress secretariat located at the Art Center of Alborz Province.
