Young Khorasani Author and Translator Wins National Top Award Among a Thousand Works
According to the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Bojnord, the 32nd National Student Book of the Year Festival, which received 1016 works from across the country, after several stages of specialized judging, finally introduced 7 works as winners, 10 works as worthy of commendation, and 5 active publishers in the scientific field as top publishers.
Namdarian’s presence among the list of winning works occurred while the competition in the specialized groups of the festival was very intense and the scientific level of the works was remarkable.
Namdarian has so far published 30 translated books and 26 authored works in scientific fields and is recognized as one of the known and influential figures in the country’s specialized publishing arena.
His activities in the transfer of specialized knowledge and the production of scientific content have played an important role in enhancing educational and research resources in engineering disciplines nationwide.
Mohammad Namdarian, a Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering and an active figure in the field of translation and authorship of scientific books, was able to attract the attention of the festival judges with his translation of “Advanced Fluid Mechanics Principles.” This work is considered one of the important resources in the field of fluid mechanics, and its accurate translation has further solidified his position as a capable translator and active researcher.
The festival’s closing ceremony was held concurrently with the Islamic Republic of Iran Book Week at Shahid Bahrami Hall of Iran University of Science and Technology. This national event was attended by a group of scientific, cultural, and literary figures from the country, including Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel, Ali Montazeri, Qader Ashna, and Mahmoud Mehrdad Shokriyeh, and the winners of this edition were honored.
The success of this young Khorasani researcher in the National Student Book of the Year Festival, in addition to confirming his scientific and research capabilities, demonstrates the high potential of North Khorasan province in nurturing specialized and expert forces in scientific and academic fields.
