Presence of 13 Million Books in the Libraries of Kanoon Parvaresh Fekri Nationwide

According to the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Semnan, Hamed Alamati, on Thursday afternoon, during a meeting with the Governor of Semnan hosted by the Governorate, referred to the important strategies and activities of Kanoon Parvaresh Fekri across the country and stated: In the new policymaking and strategy, the activities of Kanoon are not limited to reading.

Referring to the development of up-to-date science and technology fields needed by society as one of Kanoon Parvaresh Fekri’s strategies across the country, he added: Kanoon seeks to establish scientific centers to achieve its operational strategies.

The CEO of Kanoon Parvaresh Fekri for Children and Young Adults of the country considered conducting specialized surveys on the emerging needs of children as another strategy and program of this center nationwide and emphasized: All these activities and strategies are pursued alongside the main issue, which is books and reading.

Alamati announced the presence of 13 million books in the libraries of this collection across the country and said: Creating a wide network of useful books is a serious strategy for Kanoon in our country.

It should also be emphasized that Kanoon Parvaresh Fekri carries out more than 60 different types of activities in educational, artistic, cultural, social, and even skill-building fields, and these programs are welcomed by teenagers and their families every year.

The CEO of Kanoon Parvaresh Fekri for Children and Young Adults of the country also stated that conditions today are different from the past, adding: Kanoon naturally has adopted new strategies in line with these changes, but the axis of all our actions at Kanoon has been and will be books. Simply put, no activity at Kanoon begins without a book, and this is considered a fundamental principle.

Mohammad Javad Kolivand, the Governor of Semnan, also referred in his speech to the soft cultural attack against the future-building generation of Islamic Iran and said: The enemy has spent billions of dollars for the cultural subversion of our children and teenagers.

Kolivand considered books an effective arena for informing the young generation and stated: The soft war against our youth and teenagers is a great test for all of us, from people to managers, teachers, experts, librarians, and cultural figures.
