Book Cafe Opened in Hakim Mirfenderski School, Ali Abad Katoul

According to Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), a book cafe was inaugurated at Hakim Mirfenderski School in Ali Abad Katoul, Gorgan province.

The ceremony was attended by local officials, including the head of the Education Department, the head of the Public Libraries Department of Ali Abad Katoul, and a group of students and teachers.

During the opening, the head of the Education Department emphasized the importance of promoting reading among students and making books accessible. He stated, “Creating spaces like book cafes in schools can significantly contribute to fostering a culture of reading and intellectual development.”

The head of the Public Libraries Department added that this initiative is part of a broader plan to integrate library services and reading promotion into educational institutions.

The book cafe aims to provide a comfortable and stimulating environment for students to read, study, and engage in literary discussions. It will also host various cultural and literary events throughout the year.
