Book Exhibition ‘Words Are Still Alive’ to Be Held

Toohid Mansourfar, in an interview with a correspondent from the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Urmia, stated: On the occasion of the 33rd Book Week of the Islamic Republic of Iran and by the efforts of Rohan Urmia Publications, the ‘Words Are Still Alive’ book exhibition will be held.

He added that all these books are a collection of Rohan Publications’ works. The exhibition’s book topics include poetry, novels, children’s short stories, psychology, and educational books.

Mansourfar announced that all books will be sold at cover price, and orders of more than three books will receive a 20% discount.

He further stated that the ‘Words Are Still Alive’ book exhibition will be held on Thursday, November 29th, and Friday, November 30th, from 3 PM to 8 PM at Milan Gallery.

Mansourfar commented that Iran’s Book Week is an annual opportunity that not only reminds us of the inherent importance of reading but also provides a platform for active publishing entities to create a barrier against cultural neglect through well-planned programs.

He added: Publishers can and should be at the forefront of preserving and promoting reading culture. By gathering their works in a specific place and time, they physically inject the passion for books into the audience, an act that holds increased importance in today’s digital space.
