Kazem Armanpour, in an interview with a reporter from Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), emphasized the importance of keeping publishers’ knowledge up-to-date, stating: ‘Professional training for publishers and increasing their awareness of daily developments is the most effective strategy for bringing about change in the current state of the publishing industry.’

He added that ‘activity in the publishing industry is not possible without mastering new skills and knowing technology tools.’ He continued, ‘A publisher who is not familiar with new concepts such as futurology, artificial intelligence, system building in the ecosystem, content authenticity, and branding will gradually be sidelined from competition in the publishing market. Continuous training for publishers is not just an advantage, but a necessity for survival and growth in the new publishing ecosystem.’

Armanpour, referring to the recent changes in the field of books and scientific content, said: ‘The publishing industry has been greatly affected by new technologies in recent years. Transformation in this industry is not possible without enhancing the skills and knowledge of publishing managers and specialized personnel. Structured training helps publishers make more accurate decisions, manage costs, better understand their target market, and utilize smart tools for producing, distributing, and selling books; therefore, investing in publisher training is actually investing in the future of the country’s publishing.’
