The 33rd Book Week began in Evaz
According to the reporter of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), the opening ceremony of the 33rd Book Week was held with the presence of Mohsen Javadi, Deputy Minister for Cultural Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance; Ebrahim Heidari, CEO of Iran’s House of Book and Literature and Secretary of the 33rd Book Week; Forough Hashemi, Governor of Evaz County; Seyyed Mousa Ahmadizadeh, Head of the Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Evaz County; Rezaei, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance; and Mohammad Hossein Firoozi, Director General of Public Libraries of Fars Province.
During this ceremony, Javadi, Deputy Minister for Cultural Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, conveyed the greetings of Seyyed Abbas Salehi, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, to the culture-loving region in the presence of officials, cultural figures, and the people of Evaz County.
He also honored active philanthropists in the region’s cultural sector and emphasized the continuation of their presence alongside the government and their efforts in cultural activities, especially those related to books.
Prior to the official start of the event, Javadi, Deputy Minister for Cultural Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and his accompanying delegation visited several book-oriented cultural centers in the county, including “Book Park” in Fishvar village (a selected book village) and the new building of the Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Evaz County.
