Lorestan, One of the Main Hubs of Resistance Literature in the Country
According to the correspondent of Iran’s Book News Agency (IBNA) in Khorramabad, Saman Sepahvand said on Wednesday at the unveiling ceremony of three works from Lorestan’s Sacred Defense domain: The goal of holding this ceremony is to preserve and transfer the culture of sacrifice and resistance.
The Head of Lorestan’s Art Bureau stated: In a 10-year plan, by discovering talents and training local writers, we have endeavored to institutionalize resistance literature in Lorestan.
He emphasized: Today, Lorestan, with its creative writers, has become one of the main hubs of resistance literature in the country.
The commander of the Saheb al-Zaman (AJ) Headquarters also, while appreciating the writers and narrators of Sacred Defense memories, said at this ceremony: These books need to be translated into several living languages of the world so that the world may know what brave men this land and this soil have nurtured.
General Morteza Kashkooli, while thanking the authors of these works, added: The civilization that has challenged the West is the religious and cultural civilization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which has caused fear in Western societies, and the narration of such books and tales of bravery will double their fear.
According to IBNA; at this ceremony, three new works in the field of oral history of Sacred Defense were unveiled: “Baladchi: Memoirs of Combatant Hajj Esmaeil Sepahvand” (Volume 3) by Esmaeil Sepahvand, “War is No Joke: Memoirs of Disabled Combatant Nematollah Qalaei” written by Hadith Heidari, and “Pik Bidoun Pelak (Courier Without a Plate): Memoirs of Disabled Combatant Ahmad Lak” written by Nastaran Hatami.
In different parts of the program, three special clips were broadcast to introduce each book, reflecting glimpses of the atmosphere of the combatants’ memories and narratives.
Also, a play adapted from parts of the memoirs of these works was performed, and the authors and narrators of these works were honored.
