Unveiling of a Book Translated by Payman Maadi
The unveiling ceremony for the book “Great Acting Masters and Their Teaching Methods,” written by Richard Brestoff, and translated by Payman Maadi, a prominent Iranian actor and director, will be held this Thursday in Tehran at “Ravi Bookstore,” hosted by Mojtaba Jabari.
This ceremony is organized by “Fekr-e No” publishing house and will be attended by artists such as Payman Maadi, Parsa Pirouzfar, Hossein Pakdel, as well as critics and enthusiasts of books, theater, and cinema.
The book “Great Acting Masters and Their Methods” by Richard Brestoff is one of the most comprehensive and engaging resources for acting education globally. Brestoff is an actor, director, and distinguished professor of theater at the University of California, Irvine. He is one of the few individuals who has blended practical stage experience with academic research. This dual background has made his book a unique work among acting education resources.
This book has been translated by Payman Maadi, marking his first translation work.
Additionally, an introduction by Master Ali Nassirian, a veteran actor and director of Iranian theater and cinema, is included at the beginning of this work.
