This national children’s and young adult poet, at the unveiling ceremony of his latest work titled ‘Sky Thinks of Peace,’ addressed the students, saying: You students should not fall into routine; do not be afraid to experiment, and have the courage to take risks in poetry, storytelling, and art.
He added: Today is a good day for me; I was motivated by your presence and energy, young people, and I am happy that, as a cultural person, I have been able to take a step on the path of love and education. After writing poetry for you, I love this work.
Baktash stated: I tried for the poems in this collection not to be superficial, but to have deeper layers so that teenagers, as the main audience, would be prompted to think.
He continued: My goal in writing these poems is to create a deeper connection between teenagers and nature; a connection that goes beyond observation and sightseeing and leads to thought, questioning, and a philosophical understanding of the surrounding world.
This Hamedani poet and writer stated that the poems in the ‘Sky Thinks of Peace’ collection were written in the 1390s (Solar Hijri calendar, roughly 2011-2021 AD), and said: None of these poems were written hastily, and they are the result of several years of my reflection on the relationship between teenagers and nature and the concept of peace. I hope this work can encourage teenagers to have a deeper and more responsible view towards the environment and human beings.
