A Book to Encourage Children’s Ideation and Innovation

According to the reporter of the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), one solution does not work for all problems. This is a challenge that, with the increase in communication networks and virtual space today, involves children and distances them from ideation, leading them to use tools that usually provide a single answer and solution for everyone, regardless of their circumstances. However, each individual is more aware of their own conditions and circumstances than others, and the solution they find for their problem will certainly be different and effective.

This important issue can be found in the hidden layers of the book ‘A Formula for Everything’. In this book, we read the story of a distant and unknown land where suddenly a formula is discovered; a formula that can solve all problems. No one knows where this formula came from or who invented it, but everyone uses it and their problems are solved, until one day they suddenly realize that the formula no longer works for them. All the world’s laboratories become involved, and it reaches a point where the prolonged effort to solve the formula’s problem fosters people’s ideas, and they realize that they can solve their own issues and continue with life without needing it, to the extent that they no longer follow the news related to its resolution.

‘A Formula for Everything’ is a meaningful book for children that teaches them an important point: they must try and think for themselves to solve their problems, and even if there are simple shortcuts to solve problems, they are the ones who can ultimately find the best solution to overcome their challenges.

‘A Formula for Everything’ was written by Eylül Şen Yürek Altaş and illustrated by Rümeysa Abiş. Its translation was done by Nasim Yousefi, and Safir Ardehal Publishing has made it available to enthusiasts for 200,000 Tomans.

It is worth noting that Safir Ardehal Publishing has purchased the copyright for this work from its publisher in Turkey.
