Writing Training with the Technique of Authorship and Personal Language of the Author
The author of the acclaimed book “Guide to Dying with Medicinal Plants” told the reporter of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Shiraz about this workshop: The process of teaching writing usually consists of two parts: first, teaching writing techniques and skills, and second, fostering the author’s personal language. In fact, the issue is that every writer should be able to write in their own language and tone, but at the same time, utilize the principles and techniques of writing. These two aspects are like two complementary wings that are not effective without each other. In reputable educational systems worldwide, these two parts are always taught together.
She, who recently presented the book “Sulfur” to Iranian story readers through Cheshmeh Publication, added: In this process, the emphasis is on the writer starting from their personal story; from experiences of seeing and hearing, from individual life, and from their personal expression. In fact, the focus is on cultivating an individual perspective and language; for the writer to be able to create their personal world using existing techniques and to transform it into a narrative. The goal is for individuals interested in writing to find a creative and honest space for self-expression through practice and awareness. This path, of course, begins from initial stages and gradually, with the understanding of techniques and repetition of experience, the writer can find their personal path.
Attarzadeh stated: Everyone can participate in this process; from those who are at the beginning of their writing journey to more professional individuals who have published several books and found their path. In fact, writing education is not limited to a specific level, and anyone, at any stage of writing experience, can benefit from it.
Also, the paintings and sculptures by Atiyeh Attarzadeh, a storyteller and documentary filmmaker, titled “The Wound You Inherit from the Earth,” were exhibited at Sarvenaz Gallery in Shiraz. The exhibition of this storyteller opened on Friday evening with the presence of literature and art enthusiasts at the Sarvenaz Cultural and Artistic Complex. In this exhibition, which runs until November 12 (Aban 21), 15 paintings by Atiyeh Attarzadeh are on display.
