The Book ‘The Cheese and the Worms’ with a Look at Microhistory

According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), the second initiative in the series of ‘With the Faculty’ sessions by Nashr-e No, in cooperation with the Faculty of Literature and Humanities of the University of Tehran, Mardommnameh Quarterly, and the Student Scientific Association of History of the University of Tehran, will be held. This session is dedicated to the review and discussion of the book ‘The Cheese and the Worms’ written by Carlo Ginzburg, and microhistory will be discussed.

This session will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, in the Iqbal Ashtiani Hall of the Faculty of Literature and Humanities of the University of Tehran.

The speakers of this session are Dariush Rahmanian, Mohammad Javad Abdollahi, and Mohammad Ghafouri.
