Sales Publishing Holds ‘Longing’ Gathering for Nasser Taghvai

According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), Sales Publishing is organizing an evening in memory of Nasser Taghvai with the presence of critics and filmmakers.

Ahmed Talebinejad, Reza Kianian, Mahmoud Kalari, Hooshang Golmakani, and Hamid Nematollah will attend this program and speak about the films and impact of this prominent director.

The event will be held on Wednesday, November 4th, at 7 PM at the Sales Publishing Book Cafe, located at No. 148, Karimkhan Street, between Iranshahr and Mahshahr.

Nasser Taghvai was a prominent Iranian filmmaker, photographer, and writer, whose artistic career included the story collection “Summer of That Year” and films such as “Tranquility in the Presence of Others” and “Captain Khorshid”.

Taghvai passed away in Tehran on October 14th of this year at the age of 88.
