Call for Entries for Bandar Abbas Photo Book Published

According to the correspondent of the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Bandar Abbas, the call for entries for photographers from Hormozgan to contribute to the Bandar Abbas Photo Book has been published by Bandar Abbas Municipality, with the aim of visually documenting the identity and life of the people of this region.

Photographers can submit their works on various open themes, including art to nature and Southern rituals; historical and cultural aspects of the city; local, traditional, and religious customs; urban and natural landscapes; the sea, jetties, and port occupations; guilds, bazaars, and daily life; old and new neighborhoods of Bandar Abbas, urban elements, parks, and squares; traditional and local marketplaces; nature, mountains, handicrafts, and sports, to the Department of Communications and International Affairs of Bandar Abbas Municipality.

The deadline for submission of works is the end of Aban 1404 (Persian calendar, approx. November 2025). The size of the works in the first stage, for review and approval, should not exceed one megabyte. Non-physical submission of photos will also be arranged after coordination.

According to IBNA, this book will be compiled and published for the first time with the aim of collecting the most comprehensive visual collection of the metropolis of Bandar Abbas.
