Closing Ceremony of the Second ‘Rouhollah Award’ Cultural Event to be Held on 19 Azar
According to the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Arak, Ehsan Mansouri, the Director General of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults of Markazi Province, stated at this meeting that the purpose of holding the second ‘Rouhollah Award’ is to explain and introduce the personal and social dimensions of Imam Khomeini (RA). He added: “This event will be held in six sections: storytelling and podcast, calligraphy, story and poetry, poster design, and photo-text.”
He added: “This festival is a valuable opportunity for the new generation to become familiar with the thoughts and practical life of Imam Khomeini (RA) and will be implemented with a focus on the student community. Its closing ceremony will also be held on Wednesday, 19 Azar 1404, coinciding with the anniversary of Imam Khomeini (RA)’s birth.”
Mansouri announced the transfer of the secretariat of the second ‘Rouhollah Award’ to the General Department of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults of Markazi Province. He stated: “This secretariat is responsible for following up on the resolutions of the policymaking council, developing operational plans, and coordinating specialized committees, including the judging and selection committee, the publicity and information committee, and the support and final conference organization committee.”
Mohammad Amin Baqeri, the Secretary of the Policymaking Council for the second ‘Rouhollah Award’ event in Markazi Province, also considered Imam Khomeini (RA) as one of the most important components of the Iranian nation’s identity at this meeting. He stated: “The potential of this unique personality must be utilized to strengthen the identity components of society, and we hope that with the continuation of this event in the future, we will see it held at national and international levels.”
Finally, the members of the policymaking council reviewed the draft call for submissions and the festival’s executive guidelines, presenting their suggestions for improving the organizing process.
