Mahmoud Dowlatabadi’s new book published

The news agency reports that Mahmoud Dowlatabadi’s new book, a collection of stories titled “Yahya’s Trilogy,” will be published by Cheshmeh Publications.

This collection includes three previously unpublished stories by Dowlatabadi, which will be released in the form of a book for the first time by Cheshmeh Publications in early June 1403 (Persian calendar, corresponding to late May/early June 2024).

Mahmoud Dowlatabadi, the renowned novelist and storyteller, is the author of works such as “Kelidar,” “The Colonel,” “The Exhausted,” “The Missing,” “A Man and a Half,” “The Road to the River,” “The Myth of the Master,” “The Legend of Baba Sobhan,” “The Journey,” “Akhtar, the Story of a Girl,” “Bashur, the Lost Person,” “The Void,” “Slow Rain,” “The Valley of the Thousand Wells,” “The Thirsty Field,” “The Old Man and the Land,” and “Qaza-e Safar.”

His last book was “Ghabool” (Acceptance), a collection of notes, which was published by Cheshmeh Publications two years ago. “Yahya’s Trilogy” marks his return with new stories.
