Lexicography Has Shifted from Scholarly to Popular; A Book That Explores…

Tehran – Iran Book News Agency (IBNA): Ahmad Saffar Moghadam, a university professor and member of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature, discussed the book ‘Word-Formation and Its Compounds in Persian Language’ in an interview with IBNA. He stated: ‘Word-formation in the Persian language has undergone many changes from past to present. In the past, mostly scholars and specialists were involved in this matter, but today ordinary people also play a role in coining new words.’

This book has been published by Samt University Publications and is written by Dr. Ali Mohammad Hagh Shenas. The work is presented in 400 pages and priced at 85,000 Tomans.
