Poetry is Our Gateway to the Unseen World / Fatemi Poetry Night Held
The “Fatemi Poetry Night” was held with the presence of poets and cultural figures, focusing on the spiritual and mystical dimensions of poetry.
According to Mehr News Agency, the “Fatemi Poetry Night” event was held on Tuesday evening at the Art Bureau, attended by a group of country’s poets and cultural figures. In the ceremony, which was held on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatemeh Zahra (peace be upon her), several poets recited their latest poems inspired by the virtues and life of Lady Fatemeh.
Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Mehran Mousavi, one of the speakers at the event, stated: “Poetry, with its profound connection to human emotions and spiritual insights, serves as a gateway for us to enter the unseen world. It allows us to perceive truths beyond the material realm and connect with divine inspiration.” He emphasized the rich tradition of mystical poetry in Persian literature and its role in conveying profound religious and philosophical concepts.
Another speaker, Dr. Ahmad Rezaei, a literary critic, elaborated on the historical significance of poetry in Islamic culture, especially in commemorating revered figures. “The verses recited tonight not only honor Lady Fatemeh but also enrich our collective spiritual heritage,” he noted. He highlighted how such events foster a deeper appreciation for both religious devotion and artistic expression.
The night concluded with performances by several well-known poets, including Ali Akbar Latifi, Zahra Karimi, and Hassan Abbasi, who presented their new works dedicated to Lady Fatemeh Zahra. The attendees praised the high quality of the poems and the spiritual atmosphere of the event, which strengthened the connection between literature and faith.
