Book “Caucasus in the Age of Revolution” to Be Reviewed

The academic community eagerly awaits an upcoming review session dedicated to the recently published book, “Caucasus in the Age of Revolution,” authored by Dr. Hamid Reza Pahlavi. The event, organized by the History Department of Tehran University, aims to provide a platform for scholarly discussion and critical analysis of this significant historical work.

The book explores the complex political, social, and cultural transformations in the Caucasus region during a pivotal period of revolution and upheaval. Dr. Pahlavi, a leading expert in regional history, offers a fresh perspective on the interplay of local dynamics and broader international influences that shaped the destiny of these nations.

Professor Zahra Karimi will present the main review, highlighting the book’s strengths in archival research and its theoretical contributions. A panel of distinguished historians will then engage in a discussion, examining the arguments and their implications for understanding historical narratives of the Caucasus.

The review session is open to the public, particularly students and researchers interested in Middle Eastern and Central Asian history. It will be held at the university’s central auditorium next Wednesday, followed by a Q&A session with the author.
