Equipping Qom’s Rural Libraries with Book Donations
A new initiative has been launched to enhance the resources of rural libraries across Qom province through significant book donations. The project, spearheaded by the provincial Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance, aims to improve access to reading materials for residents in underserved communities.
Hundreds of titles, spanning various genres including literature, science, history, and children’s books, have been collected from public and private donors. These books will be distributed to village libraries, bolstering their collections and encouraging a love for reading among all age groups.
Officials expressed their gratitude for the public’s support and emphasized the long-term benefits of investing in rural cultural infrastructure.
