Equipping Qom’s Rural Libraries with Book Donations
The General Department of Public Libraries of Qom province has significantly bolstered its efforts to support rural communities by equipping various village libraries with a substantial donation of 4,500 volumes of books. Mohsen Nazari, the head of public relations for the department, announced this initiative, emphasizing its primary goal: to promote and develop the culture of reading across Qom’s rural areas. He further detailed that the donated books span a wide array of subjects, carefully selected to cater to diverse age groups, including engaging titles for children, educational resources for teenagers, and stimulating literature for adults. Nazari underscored the critical importance of providing easy access to diverse literary resources for rural communities, highlighting that such provisions are essential for fostering knowledge, nurturing reading habits, and stimulating intellectual growth among all residents.
